Australians now face some of the most restrictive laws ever seen in any Western nation – laws that allow the state to pass down heavy penalties to people merely suspected of committing an offence.
So my parents, after being classed as “terrorists” by the Soviets for participating in the 1956 revolution against the USSR, fled to Australia for nothing.
We went to all that trouble—fulfilled our moral contract of assimilation, working and contributing—only to find we may now have more freedoms back in Hungary.

I understand why Collett had to condemn Joel's joke. But for what it's worth, I don't.
I don't because I understand the context Joel made the joke in. Before I heard about it, I had heard hours of the Joel and Blair Show (sadly, now wiped from the Internet because of the hate crime legislation). If you heard Joel's shows, you would know he has an extremely dry sense of humour, and that he is fighting for women NOT TO BE RAPED by immigrant invaders.
You would also know that Joel has made it clear that he is intentionally provocative as a political, non-violent tactic. He has argued that if you just stay polite all the time, you will get no attention from the mainstream media, and therefore will never reach the people you most need to get your message out to. He has a point.
I have heard audiences full of men and women laugh when white male comedians make jokes about "feeling rapey." It's funny exactly because everyone knows the overwhelming majority of white men will never commit a rape in their lifetimes.
Joel is one of the most honourable white men of our time, because he is sticking his neck out for everyone else who is afraid to speak up about the reality of what's being done to white people in Western countries. And he's doing so at great personal cost.
I also understand that Joel's "offensive social media post" was made in response to the MP in question (Allegra Spender) saying that he should be thrown in jail for having organized a rally that accused Jews of wanting to take away Australians' free speech.
What happened? Joel got thrown in jail, and Australian's have lost their free speech. Will Allegra Spender ever be taken to task for that?

Imagine throwing Jews who donate to AIPAC in jail for 15 years for financially backing that hate group. Oh vey.
Makes me happy to live in the Netherlands, it's rare that anyone goes to prison for hate speech alone over here, you usually get a fine and community service, unless they can tie it to terrorism, the suspect had illegal firearms or they committed acts of violence, etc.
Imagine, a white person in your home town gets mugged on the high street by another white person. But just round the corner, a black person gets mugged by a white person (highly unlikely, I know).
The same crime yards apart, except the latter one would be classified as a "Hate Crime," whilst the former would be classified as an ordinary crime.
And of course, the person committing the latter crime would be treated far more harshly than the one committing the former

Excellent as usual,aren't we in the same situation here .Two Jews are stabbed by a Somali savage who shouldn't have been walking our streets in the first place,and had stabbed a Somali earlier on in the day and a policeman years ago and look at the hysteria let alone the money poured into the Jewish community’s coffers .Well done as usual
